Hi all, It's been 1 year and 2 months since I last worked on my computer chess program but recently I got the urge and dusted it off. I took one look at it and decided it was time for a rewrite. In so doing I found so many bugs that I am amazed the old version even played chess. This time around I've tried to be more careful about sanity checking my numbers at every step. Hopefully I have not created as many bugs as I found and fixed. Anyway, just a friendly hello to Bob, Bruce and anyone else who remebers. I'm sure I'll be filling the board with more stupid questions again soon :). When the new engine is ready it will play under the name "monsoon" on ICC. Scott
