Therefore, the only way to play online with CM8000 is via TCP/IP, LAN or modem. There is no way to play an "unknown opponent" anymore, because MPlayer was so disappointing to just about everybody who tried to connect there. Hopefully, the original version of Chessmaster Live (the one where we owned the servers and were in control of everything) will be back up for the NEXT version of Chessmaster next year. jm
