I saw in my PC (PIII 733) Crafty took only 14 seconds for 10 ply and started the 11th ply. But the default setting of 30 second was not enough for completing that ply and it had to use the previous result of 10 ply. My question: Is it better that Crafty guessed the time for the next ply would be not enough and stopped at ply of 10, so it could save 16 seconds? Pham
