> the instruction manuals SHOWED UP YESTERDAY (AARRGGGHH!!!) I entered Rebel 9 serial number and it installed (and worked) Ok. The only glitch was that it had decided that my video card is VGA so it had set the video mode with screen refresh rate of 59Hz, which creates an annoying flicker. This problem was unfortunately on the PIII-800Mhz/512Mb machine, which I was hoping to play on, while the machine on which it recognizes video as SVGA is the older PII-266Mhz. I think if the Schroeder Co. could take all the time they have spent troubleshooting assorted DOS, mouse & video card problems past 3-4 years, they could have ported it to Win32 (which had to be done eventually anyway) three times over.
