I entered Rebel 9 serial number and it installed (and worked) Ok. The only
glitch was that it had decided that my video card is VGA so it had set the video
mode with screen refresh rate of 59Hz, which creates an annoying flicker. This
problem was unfortunately on the PIII-800Mhz/512Mb machine, which I was hoping
to play on, while the machine on which it recognizes video as SVGA is the older
PII-266Mhz. I think if the Schroeder Co. could take all the time they have spent
troubleshooting assorted DOS, mouse & video card problems past 3-4 years, they
could have ported it to Win32 (which had to be done eventually anyway) three
times over.
