There are tools you can use to set the refresh rate of the video card for dos
mode. A while ago I found one when I gave a try to the newest Decade. I think Ed
could put such a tool on his site for download.

And yes I agree with you that a windows engine would be a better solution. I
guess it is coming soon, as far as I remember it as just a speed problem of the
porting.
