My experience with ME after having 98 is that ME is somewhat more stable -well, a lot more- and has some features I like and consider esential. By example, the chance to restore system settings if something goes wrong. The much better multimedia tools is another. Faster defragmenting utility. Etc. With 98 I had at least one blue screen per week; now I have non. Every program I runned with 98, run also in ME. Every chess program run. Besides, if after install you install 98lite program, then you get a really good platform. Of course ME is not perfect. Bill Gates should face a firing squad, yes, BUT if you compare one buggy thing with another buggy thing, there is room to prefer one to the other. Fernando
