This ensuing discussion illustrates why the original heading was unacceptable. I don't think offensive messages are censored because being offensive is wrong. They are censored because they stir lengthy, emotional, off-topic discussions that are contrary to the spirit of this message board This thread is a very good example indeed. Whether the simile had a factual basis is irrelevant to that: 1) it is off-topic and 2) it involves a topic of sensitive nature. It is true for example, that African Americans are undereducated compared to whites in the US, but that doesn't mean it's acceptable to make fun of this fact in this forum. Hopefully, moderators can come to their senses and delete this entire thread, including this message. Dan.
