There's more luck involved when comes to winning a tournament, because all the participant are using different hardware and who knows what opening books were used. When Junior won a tournament this month, some people were complaining that GT were running in an inferior hardware compared to Junior. I'd like to see people show less hype about a particular chess engine, and instead, devote more time writing more useful threads, such as using the engine for training or to improve one's game, or give useful positions for analysis.
