Ans.  When Shredder 5.0 starts winning big on a 1.5 Ghz dual machine then I will
probably cheer it on too.  The purpose of this last post was to show the
Chessmaster xxxx crowd that they should be happy with the King program but not
shout too loud about it.

Sarah is right.  A few games don't prove much.  Most of these programs still
have enormous holes in their knowledge. Little by little, we are getting
stronger programs.  Knowledge and not brute force is the way to go.
