Hi, Steen Suurballe made an update ! This Gandalf 4.32g update is free for registered user. At the moment is the version in Beta for a little test. When you are registerd user and have interest on an beta test (important are the different GUIs, Gandalf 4.32x is an universal TOP program for a lot of chess playing GUI) please write me an eMail to: ----- Quisinsky@t-online.de ----- I send then the g-version tomorrow ! And please, not to Quisinsky@in-trier.de !!! Gambit-Soft is the distributor and send this new update after a little test. I hope a lot of people have interest to make a little test. History text: Gandalf 4.32 bugfix history ============================ 2000-10-06 : #0001 Under winboard gandalf would not play correctly as "second" engine in an "edited" posion. Fixed. 2000-10-16 : #0002 Autoplaying using wbengine.exe did not use learning very well. Fixed 2000-10-17 : #0003 Chessbase interface. Gandalf asked for draw after 7 book moves when playing manually (not eng-eng match). Fixed. 2000-10-21 : #0004 FICS playing. Gandalf stopped playing when a draw by insufficient material was reached. Continous playing now. 2000-11-20 : #0005 Winboard: Sometimes problem when moving forward/backward in a position and the continue playing. fixed. 2000-11-24 Moving from version f to g Evaluation tuning of : - Pawn Structures - Playing endgame with bishops of opposite color - Other small enhancements - Based on 350 blitz games between "f" and "g" version, playing strength is improved by estimated 25-30 ELO.
