If you want to experiment further with data types, Microsoft has a Processor Pack for Visual C++ http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/downloads/ppack/default.asp This gives you access to the MMX/SEE/3DNow!/SSE2 registers in your processor. Not that the 64-bit MMX registers are really as useful as they might first seem, at least it could be interesting to try them out. Bo Persson bop@malmo.mail.telia.com
