The choices we actually have are rather limited. Joe Clark PM 20 yrs ago, leading a party who will be lucky to get 12 seats thanks to Mulroney. The NDP who destroyed Ontario with Bob Rae a few years ago (admitedly provincial) but policy wise typical. A party that will be lucky to get a few western seats and a few in the maritimes. Reform or now the Alliance who will be lucky to win a 1/2 dozen seats east of Manitoba. And be lucky to get more seats than the Bloc who will only compete in one province. If you live in Quebec you could naturally vote for the Bloc to stick up your finger to the rest of Canada. Either way it's either the Bloc or the Liberals as no other party has any presence in Quebec. Finally we have the Liberals and Chretien. Not the greatest PM in history but at least the party has been able to remove the crippling national debt that we had built up through the tory years. Either way the Liberals when they win today will at least be a party with seats from every part of Canada the only true national party. Sarah.
