I think there is no point in trying "probably" losing captures before other
moves. It is _much_ slower to first try these losing ones and probably not get a
cutoff than to try first the moves which probably could cause a cutoff. There is
probably something wrong in your PVS. Could you post the function you are using
(or a simplified skeleton if you don't want to publish code). You could fin a
bug there.
