Dear computerchess friends,

On the REBELhomepage I read about Rebel's computerbenchmark test.
The most interesting conclusion was that the AMD k6 performed so much
better than the Intel PentiumMMX's.
For instance AMD k6 233 nearly as good as the Intel PII 300.
My question now is does this fact occurs also with other chessprograms?
I'm specially interested in Fritz, The King(tascbase2.0) and Crafty.
I think this is important to know when you buy or upgrade your computer
specially when your a "computerchess-addict"

with regards A.L.Mourik
