Here are the items that are already in the patch:

1. Fixed the "Seconds per Move" bug, where the engine responds almost
immediately, regardless of the number of seconds chosen.

2. Fixed a bug that would cause the mentor engine to restart thinking about a
position if the Visual Thinking or Thinking Lines window was opened, even if the
mentor engine had already been thinking about the position and sending its
output to another window.

3. Two notable errors in the documentation were discovered:
-- The Vector Board that is mentioned in the documentation does not exist in the
program.
-- The "Equal Time" time control also does not exist in the program.

4. Added a "Copy Contents" context menuitem to the "Thinking Lines" window.
Choosing this item will copy all of the contents of that window to the Windows
clipboard, formatted just like it is in the program.

5. Fixed a bug that would cause the "Positions" columns in the Thinking Lines
window to display incorrectly after approximately 2.1 billion positions had been
seen.

6. Fixed a crash that was caused by attempting to load a 16-color bitmap as a
wallpaper in a room. 16-color bitmaps are not supported, but the program now
tells you when you are attempting to load one as a wallpaper.

7. Fixed a bug that occurred on some machines in which Thematic and Simple piece
movement sounds would only play if Chessmaster was NOT the active application.
Now, these sounds play properly but NO piece movement sounds play if Chessmaster
is not the active application.

8. Added an "Import PGN Settings" dialog that allows you to set the criteria by
which games in a PGN file are imported into an opening book.

Other items that are not yet fixed, but will be:

1. The problem with an XBoard engine offering a draw when its opponent is a
computer and the draw offer not being sent properly.

2. The problem where fast-moving personalities (for example, Max and Lacey)
might stop responding if they left book and then re-entered it via a
transposition.

Other bugs that MIGHT be fixed:
1. The tutorial crash that occurs when making an incorrect move in a question.
This bug only occurs on Win2K.

2. The problem where the GUI only accepts coordinate notation from XBoard
engines, and not other, unambiguous notations such as algebraic.

3. A crash involving using the menus that only occurs on Win2K.

Other items that are suggestions from users for improvements to the game that
MIGHT be added:

1. Human adjudication of a tournament or rated game (rather than waiting for
checkmate or a legal draw).

2. Supporting whispering/kibitzing from XBoard engines.

3. Displaying "Mate in N" rather than 99.XX in the Thinking Lines window.

4. Secondary time controls.
