Sapphire II togeter with the NOVAG PC board is not bad at all...... >THIS was the >day I stopped BELIEVING in dedicated-computer-chess-companies. >THEY ARE NOT WILLING to sell good dedicated machines that can compete >with PC's. They CANNOT compete - under no circumstances - just because of the total difference in the quality of the hardware. But - didn't you miss something ? Think about the TASC R 30 or, the seldom sold R 40 - or the Mephisto London or Mephisto Genius 2 on a 68.030 Motorola.....these are machines, we could have only been dreamin' of in them old days......and they ARE available. Not to mention the cost - I remember Ossi selling WM machines for DM 10.000 or so and know a gent, who bought 2 in a row, one year after the other. Keep on rockin' elvispcd@owl-online.de
