I have 2 verisons of Win2k. I installed CM8000 on my other Win2k partition that has DirectX7, and have yet to see it hang. The install said that 7.0a could not be installed. Win2k comes with DirectX verison 7 so I assume the 7.0a is maybe bug fixes. I did have DirectX8 already installed on the Win2k system where CM8000 is randomly going into a loop.
