Hi Kirk and Jim,

I talked to technical support about CM 8000 and they said that there is "no"-
support for it. They said that there were too many problems with MPLAYER Site
from the past and that the other site last used was i believe but not positive
that they said was "Game Spy". This was used for CM 7000 and this site didn't
pick up CM 8000 as yet, but Mattel(owner of ChessMaster)is maybe going to host
their own site next year!

There is no support for any Chess site to play at with CM 8000! The only way
that you can play another player is by knowing their IP Address or play modem to
modem which means that someone is the "host" and then your modem calls their
phone number and then you are plaing chess. The good thing about this way is
that you are not on the internet, so there is hardly a chance to have a
disconnect playing this way.

Then there is LAN play which is playing on a local area network. I don't know
much about how exactly this feature works.

Regards,Terry
