Chessmaster4000 lost 9-5 against Dark thought. For comparison results of part of the other programs from the same positions (source Ernst Heinz's book) Fritz3 lost 12-2 Fritz5 lost 8.5-5.5(It was the best result of the tested programs against dark thought) Fritz5.32B lost 10.5-3.5 Genius3 lost 9-5 Genius5 lost 11.5-2.5 Junior5 lost 9.5-4.5 Dark thought had hardware advantage but the programs got more time to compensate for part of the difference in hardware.
