Crafty will only offer draws if it plays against a human : when playing winboard match , winboard sends "computer" and crafty will neither accept nor offer draws . I am not aware if CM8K will also send "computer" ; if not crafty would be the best free engine . Another one would be ZChess ; ZChess offers draw if out of an advantegous position the human committs a blunder ( will also probably not work if "computer" is sent ( untested )) . As far as I know there are no other availlable winboard engines sending draw offers . When including Xboard there would be Hossa , and then this seems to be it . I am not aware of any other winboard/xboard engine that is able to offer draw by itself ( risky statement :-) , winboard freaks , correct me ) .
