Yes, I used a hex editor to change the correct byte in a personality file. I set
it for selective search = 32. It then displays OK as 32 in the CM8000
personality definition window. I haven't done enough comparison tests yet to be
sure what it's doing, but my impression is...  It's not using the default 6
setting.  So based on your info, it must be using 12.
