Hallo Ed,

I `m a reader of this magazine and I looked into the issue 5/2000 of
COMPUTERSCHAAK. On page 4 Jeroen Noomen wrote in his article about the event in
London: "Op het laatste moment beslook ik (na telefonisch contact met Marcus
Kästner) voor een "geheim wapen" .......etc.

On page 2 he explained the readers his work in preparing the opening lines for
this tournament. If I understand it correct, this means, that only he (Jeroen)
was responsible for the opening preparation of Chess Tiger.

He also wrote, that he decided to play this line ( in his words: "a secret
weapon" !) in the game against Shredder AFTER A PHONE CONVERSATION WITH Marcus
Kästner. You say, that Jeroen was not present in London. Let me add the a small,
but important detail here. He wrote: "After a PHONE CONVERSATION with Marcus
Kästner I decided to use a secret weapon against Shredder ......" If he use a
phone, it was possible for him, to give instructions to the operator in London
.......

Regarding your statement here I`m a little bit confused. How should I understand
it ? Did you mean, that Jeroen didn`t wrote the true in his articles for
COMPUTERSCHAAK ? I can`t believe this ........

Mr. Kästner wrote: " also EVERYONE knows the opposite, weiner/meyer-kahlen again
are trying to cheat the court. ........" I think, that this kind of statement is
a very disgusting attack from a involved person against our friend Stefan, who
is since a long time a very respected member here in CCC. Why did the moderators
allow this ?

At last: make peace, not war .......

Best wishes
Peter
