I have managed to enlarge the board size to the maximum size of my 19" screen in 1024x768 mode. Likewise with the chess pieces. Try clicking on the magnify icons in the customize window. This should help. I will grant you that this window can not be closed, only hidden behind other windows. Richard Heldmann
