Thanks alot, Bruce - for this really nice + picturesque description -
even old
ELVIS now understands...:-)
Nevertheless - referring, to what Ed, for example + you answer, shows,
that the
" problem " itself ain't really " trivial " - as we would call it in
Germany.
All these infos bring me to the conclusion,
that it highly relys on how good I personally can interprete the program
+ the known
" philosophy " i.e. the clear to out differnce between F5 and G5, and
how good the common understanding of my system is, last to be the minor
problem....

My personal use of chess progs, beside training opening theory, is
exeptionally
asking them questions about the content of a position in int. master
class
corr. chess.
So, because of the long time I give them to look into the position, in
general overnight - I had the amateur-idea " the more hash - the better
it can climb down into the plys "......

Hope, I'll remember that in time - before I hear a fire bell ring...:-))

No, no - I don't wanna make a big thing out of this.
I jusk asked, 'cause I can get the most profiled people around in this
theme here.......and if here weren't an answer possible - where
else....that was my intention.

Good advice - allready " start to throw " .....thinking about the
replacement of my AMD K6 towards a PII 300....:-(

Thanks again....
