Hello, I have been playing more games at a time control of G/1hour against Rebel Century 3.0. I'm now convinced that there is nothing wrong with Chessmasters time control at G/minutes. It is very conservative but in comparison to say Rebel Century 3.0, they come out very similiar sometimes. I would prefer to see a program use more time in the middle game but both of these programs seem to save a little more for the endgame than most programs especially one like Chess Tiger. I think I saw too many 40/60 games to begin with and when the first two games by CM8K at G/60 were also very fast I was convinced that something was wrong. That was before I saw that it definitely had problems at "moves/minutes" settings. By the way the score is 3.5-2.5 favor CM8K at G/60. Jim
