Hi! It is indeed a good idea. I understand that it is very interesting to discuss about everything possible with people you know allready. But this is not the place to do it - this is a moderated computer chess forum. I don't like the idea that we constantly allow offtopic post here (is this OT?). It would be clearer to maybe widen the list of allowed topics and to follow that list more accurately - that means also moderators. Maybe there should be a direct Rules link at the top of the messages so that nobody forgets them... And I still think that an etiquette describing posting basics is needed here. In Finland we have many moderated (very, very strictly) news groups in which it is really not too hard to post a message which breaks many rules, but when you learn the basics you find these groups very functional and friendly places. Or maybe we need a General Whatever Forum... Severi
