I agree that this looked inconsistent. An ideal solution (but maybe
hard for Tim to fix) would be if a moderator (maybe one not taking part
in the off-topic discussion :) with a simple command could redirect
the thread to the General Chess Forum. There is always a shortage
of posts there, and nobody cares :)
