This seems to be a difficult case, and it is hard to say something useful per telediagnosis. I can only assume that the hd brand name you mean is "Quantum". Furthermore, you should have an invoice at which it is exactly listed what you have bought. If not... I'm afraid you're in trouble. Maybe the salesman suddenly doesn't even remember you.
