If that were what he said IMO it is deceiving as his results for
F6 are in large made up of results of the original engine prior
to the release of 6a Jan 2000. I understand the limitations of
using patches or upgraded engs in ratings but the point is that
people take this to mean Fritz 6a the version as rated and tested
by the SSDF, when this is not the case.

Shredder 5 may indeed turn out to be 100 greater, I don't have a copy
so can't really say with any certainty. But I can say that I honestly
doubt whether even one year from now any program will prove to be 100
points better than Fritz 6a.
