You mentioned Gambit Tiger doing things that you can't figure out--and that Fritz couldn't figure out--play some blitz against it, if you haven't already, and you might see even more of this type of thing. Last night in one game I thought I was really doing great, when, around move 20 or so, I was a pawn up on Gambit Tiger and kept that seeming advantage for 4 or so moves. But I'm such a poor player that the games would be of no interest to anybody here, I don't think, unless somebody were interested in seeing a program wipe out a rank amateur. Chessmaster never offered me the upgrade to 8000 for $19.95 and I don't even care now. I wouldn't play it anyway, not when I can play Gambit Tiger. Rebel can be fun too. I have not played the first game against Tiger 13. RC
