You mentioned Gambit Tiger doing things that you can't figure out--and that
Fritz couldn't figure out--play some blitz against it, if you haven't already,
and you might see even more of this type of thing.

Last night in one game I thought I was really doing great, when, around move 20
or so, I was a pawn up on Gambit Tiger and kept that seeming advantage for 4 or
so moves.  But I'm such a poor player that the games would be of no interest to
anybody here, I don't think, unless somebody were interested in seeing a program
wipe out a rank amateur.

Chessmaster never offered me the upgrade to 8000 for $19.95 and I don't even
care now.  I wouldn't play it anyway, not when I can play Gambit Tiger.  Rebel
can be fun too.  I have not played the first game against Tiger 13.
