ChessMaster never uses it's full time(At least so far). However most of the
time it's time use is comparable to Rebel Century. In some cases it's time used
is typically about 10 minutes less than Rebel. In one game I told ChessMaster
to use 80 minutes instead of 60 and it's time got down to 23 minutes which means
it really had only 3 minutes left before using 60. At that point Rebel was
already down to 3 minutes left of it's 60. So I decided to change CM8K time to
only 3 minutes left also. This turned into a blitz game and Rebel lost quickly.
This game is not going to count in the final total. But the point is that CM8K
is very conservative in it's time use but may on occasion use more than usual
and you can't count on it to use less than 60 when setting it for 80 minutes.
So I've decided to just let it play it's game and see what happens.
Jim
