I received a e-mail Dec. 2, 2000 telling me that if I place an order before noon on Monday Dec. 4 shipping would be free. What a nice deal. So I spent all morning getting a HUGE order together that was in total $838.65. When I called it in, I was told (very nicely by Carney) that I had to order it over the internet. Well that is ok, but I didn't want to give my credit card number out over the net. She told me she would take it over the phone and then all I had to do was note in the "comments" section that I had done that. All good! We then discussed where I could find my serial number for Rebel 10 to qualify for the upgrade. After finding it, she then said that free shipping did not apply to software! Ok, I wasted my whole morning putting together this order, and now the "special" did not apply. Remember the Hills Brothers commercial where the company rejected some beans and their supplier "sold them to someone else"? Guess what I did!? The email was misleading at best. I guess I learned MY lesson.
