I don't think Shredder5 "beats" Gambit-Tiger. Shredder5 maybe gets 50% (depending on the machines you use and the time-control). 2. My point was that Fritz6 (and versions before) often shows sero score in positions it loses afterwards. of course not only fritz shows this behaviour, as your examples show. But the point with Fritz6 is, that you can be almost sure, that it will not understand the position and lose the game in most of the moments it shows this sero-score. of course it sometimes is able to fight back the lost positions. for me this 0.00 or draw-score is an indicator for losing-fritz behaviour. i am not sure if other programs indicate this behaviour in such a strong way as fritz is doing it. but i am willing to learn if you convince me more and more :-))) thank you again uri.
