Probably, I'm not sure as I didn't read all of it. The presense of the thread
didn't bother me as I consider myself capable of deciding whether to read or
ignore it. If the content was unconfrontational then why delete the thread. It
stopped within reasonable time.

Similar threads about other aspects of the same topic were not as gentle in
content. Mostly posted by people who know nothing about the US and who's never
been there. That should be stopped immidiately.

If you find that the complaints are numerous and legitimate then terminate the
thread. Given your profession, I think you're aware of theorem and proof :o).
Just treat complaints like theorems and examine the proof given.
