You would be far better off to focus on features instead, I think. Robert Pawlak has some nice program reviews. Those might prove helpful in your buying decisions. http://hometown.aol.com/rjpawlak/ch_widow.html Crafty + Winboard with Tablebase files and SCID is very strong and also free. However, unless you have some technical ability, I would recommend a commercial one instead.
