Amswer: Rebel 11 or Shredder 5.0 will be about the strongest. The Rebel 11 CD costs about $50.00 US and Shredder 5.0 $100.00 US . The Rebel CD has the Chess Tiger 13 program using the ChessPartner 5.0 interface. Tiger beat the King program at the recent Dutch computer championships. The Rebel 11 CD also has a nice 800,000 grandmaster game database included free of charge for use with the Rebel Century 3.0 program. http://www.icdchess.com sells both Rebel 11 and Shredder 5.0 Tim Frohlick On December 05, 2000 at 20:35:15, Steve Shook wrote: >What is the strongest chess software available that allows you to import PGN >games.
