Go up one level in this thread

I am curious if I'll now receive a court order for using that name... But don't
get me started on this.. We seem to have reached court order number five now for
ChessBits...

These Gambit Tiger-like settings were posted by Marc van Hal:

Selective Search 125
Mobility 125
King Safety 150
Pins 125
Pawnstructure 105
Passed Pawns 110
Chess Knowledge 200

Chess Knowledge 200 will only work in Century 1.0 and in 3.0. Maybe Sharp.mvs
could be used as a book.

Of course there is also the "Bluff Chess" settings that Ed Schröder made himself
and that is available under the 'Options'-button.
Could be combined with other personalities but I have no idea how That would
turn out...

Roy Brunjes made the 'Storm' settings:

STORM is defined as:

All the Rebel Century 3.0 defaults EXCEPT:

King Safety: 500
Mobility: 101
Pins: 200
Chess Knowledge: 200
Attractiveness: 125
Attacking: 150

Roy recommended using Sharp.mvs.

If you want to see even more crazy sacrifices there are of course Q3 and Q5T
(This is Eric Campos' Q3 but Attractiveness = 250, optional Mobility = 45. I use
Selective Search = 120 but should make no difference from using 140 unless this
does now work differentlyin Century 3.0? Just got around to doing some
experiments with increased Chess Knowledge in 3.0 and Q5T, glad this is working
again and I'm having much fun with Tiger and Century 3.0.. Thanks Christophe, Ed
and other programmers!) and I think there should be some chances of winning a
game against this one... Q3 settings are provided on the CD but I could not get
to load them correctly in Rebel's own Personality editor, instead use a text
editor to open by rightclicking with mouse on .eng file and uncheck "always use
this program to open", print or write down settings and recreate in personality
editor. I believe Ed now has these settings for download too but it is easy to
re-create them and there are sometimes useful comments in this Q3 and other
original Rebel's tactical contest contributions, when opened in Wordpad. But
about the website or documentation, if you have some constructive criticism
maybe Rebel could do something with that..

Have fun,
Eelco
