A simple division would be something like: 1) An OT post with unconfrontational content should be deleted if several persons complain, eg. 5-10 people. 2) An OT post with confrontational and potentially insulting should be deleted if one person makes a valid complaint, eg. "I would like the moderators to delete the thread about the US elections as soon as possible. I don't find it reasonable to be subjected to ridecule in an off topic thread just because I happen to be an American citizen..." and so on. Interpretation of "valid complaint" can be tricky, but not impossible IMHO. Mogens.
