Subject: Now I don't feel so bad that Gambit Tiger beats me on a 333 Pentium ; )

I am unrated but have beaten a few 1900 USCF players. I only swindled one game
from the GT in over 60 games played. The trick in beating GT or Tiger 13 is to
get it to trade material when it is behind. Getting these programs behind in
material is almost impossible unless you can trap their queen and end up with a
net positive score on material.

My informal rating at the WCN on the web varied between 1400 and 1600 but I was
talking a lot and had no bloodthirsty drive at that site. That was playing five
minute to 20 minute games. Yes, I did "throw" some games. I always lost to the
masters at this site, however.
