Mogens, It is a tough choice to make. The two main reasons for getting Shredder 5.0 instead of Rebel 11 would be the presence of the four endgame CDs and the Triple Brain feature in Shredder. It must tell you something when the games played by each program against the other show them pretty close to each other in strength ie Chess Tiger 13 vs Shredder 5.0 even though the Rebel programs do not use EGTBs. If one was on a limited budget then I think that the Rebel 11 CD or Fritz 7.0 would be better choices. I keep wanting to buy Shredder 5.0 and I think that the price of $100.00 US is a steal.
