I have made a trip along the sites of the main dedicated units manufacturers, like Excalibur, Saitek and Novag, and, although all these companies presents pretty units, I wonder If only one of all them, from the mere toys to expensive units for "experts", has a really new engine. I have the feeling that many of those NEW brand pieces of plastic simulating wood are enclosing very old programs, some of them of 90's vintage and even, I suspect, 80's vintage, like the Phantom unit by Excalibur that I believe it is the old Fidelity computer of 1985 with the Par Excellence program -or a version of it- by the Spracklen. Someone with info about this? Fernando
