I am not sure about it.

I suspect that it is possible to get an old PC+ chess program in lower price.

There are a lot of old 486's that nobody use and I beleive that you can get them
for free or almost for free.

The top programs on 486 are better than the dedicated computers.

If you want to give a gift for someone than a combo of 486 that you do not need
and a chess program may be better.
