If you refer to all the people that know how to move the pieces, then probably
you are right.
For tournament chess players, the Par Excellence should be strong enough for
only about 90% of them, at most.
I would not buy a dedicated chess machine, they are either too weak, too small
or way too expensive.
I believe that the dedicated machine market is not dead, I have just seen a few
expensive machines in a departament store, and I am pretty sure that most of
them will be sold before Christmas. Clients there do not need a super strong
program, most likely they are casual and not tournament players.
