You need to insert your windows 98 cd in the bay and then proceed as follows:

hit start; click programs; click accessories; click system tools, click system
information and then click on the top taskbar, tools.  When the pull down menu
comes on, click on system file check.  Let window find the corrupted files and
then just restore from the cd.

I believe the video device drivers Jim mentioned, vxd should be in
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM at least that's were most of them are. I can find Vshinit.vxd
and Ndis.vxd in SYSTEM. If he could find them on the Windows CD and there are
just three files needed maybe it is possible to just place them back in
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. Or wouldn't that work? Have no idea.
