The Thunderbird has the Cache on die and has so a better performance.For chess the difference depends on the software.For example Fritz maybe 3%,for Hiarcs maybe 15%.It is very difficult to say. The best value for your money you get from an Thunderbird 900 Mhz,see the hardware Chessfun uses.Where to get ? I don´t know,i am from old germany. Greetings Thomas
