First, let me be more specific about what happens: The problems is until I
actually click on a menu item, any menu item. When I then move my cursor away
the program crashes. I can move OVER the menu items as much as I want, as long
as I don't actually click on one.

My system

PIII 450, 256MB RAM
Abit BH6 motherboard
3dfx Voodoo3 2000 video card, with 16MB RAM
A 6GB hard drive, 1 30GB hard drive.

I normally run at 800x600 resolution. Changing to a different resolution does
not fix the problem

The problem occured with DirectX 7, and continued after installing DirectX 8.

Downloaded the latest video drivers today, and the problem still occurs.

When Chessmaster crashes I have to use Task Manager to end the process for The
King.exe.
