I don't necessarily feel this is the wrong forum for this, with todays technology many things that could only be learned in books, can now be learned in some of the better commercial chess programs via tutorials, quizzes, drills and the like. I have found Chessmaster 8000 to be an excellent learning tool and much more fun and interactive than reading "dry" books. I will not go into a sales pitch for CM8000, the point is future computer chess fans should handle the technology as soon as possible. They can learn faster and IMHO more effectively that way. Then they too can contribute their experiences at our forum. Regards, Paul
