Sometimes these old and weak thingies hold their own against top PC programs
surprisingly well.
I once put up Sargon III (the C64 version on an emulated C64 running at about
95% of its original speed on a PIII-550, i.e. at about 1 Mhz!) against Fritz 5
on the other PIII, and it took Fritz quite some time to show more than a +0.5
score. It finally won in like 38 moves or something.
