I'm glad this ended up being so straight forward (straight forward now
anyway).
Thanks to all involved.

Now,
With the changes in the source code,
can I compile the source with just the standard changes to the header
files
to reflect this machine (#undef HAS_64BITS, #define HAS_LONGLONG, #undef
 LITTLE_ENDIAN_ARCH, #  undef  UNIX, etc. )

-or- are other changes necessary.
