Right, I didn't go back more than one week, posts originating last week were
sensible, earlier ones not.

Do other rec.groups get that kind of nonsense or is it exclusive to computer
chess?

The danger is that the capability used against these "kindergarten-nyaahs" also
gets used for personal and / or political censoring as well. Clear that an idea
to cut the nonsense (and I read the trash that was being thrown at you) is now
used to eliminate anything that the in-control-clique doesn't like.

How to make a balance?
